University College of Health Sciences Slovenj Gradecis an independent private institution for higher education, founded by Slovenj Gradec municipality and the Koroška Centre for Higher Education (KOVIVIS).
The college was founded on the 12th May 2009, the International Nurses Day. We are distinguished by excellence in both education and research in health sciences fields. In such short period we have founded the Research Institute and established a research group for the Health sciences field, the Career Centre, we have secured the ERASMUS Charter, and signed numerous bilateral agreements for international cooperation, and established a library for the field of health sciences.
